    Great film!
Once again, comes through with another winner.Their candid look at a sport which is
not only is growing with immense popularity. But proves more importantly, to offer these kiting
enthusiasts, a way to connect their souls to the wind. And doing it in a fashion that leaves no trace,
virtually no carbon-footprint. The thought of the uncrowded landscape, the silence & serenity and the half a million acres of untracked snow is a lure too great to resist.Filmed in HD, “Ride iT Out” gives a crystal clear insight to the visions and escapades of these dedicated and sometimes hilarious Idaho snowkiters.

Congratulations on the ” Jury Favorite ” award at the Winter Wildlands Film Festival 08

I had the good fortune to spend a day with Jay (the producer) in Boise last weekend. What a high tech set up, a private studio made just for editation (editing and meditation) loaded with multi screens, Macs, Hard Drives galore and a custom keyboard for editing. (Hope I didn’t give away your secrets J )

The reality sunk in when I saw the awards in person, the plaque from Milan was stunning, came in a wooden box complete with Italian inscriptions. It helped me realize how wide of an audience these films are being taken to…and the fact that the film goers are stoked is a reminder that we are all very lucky to be involved in Snowkiting so early in the game.

While J will be showing ‘Ride it Out’ in Canada early December, he sent me with the latest edit of the video, and a new film ‘Winds of the West’. Both films will be debuted at the Snowkite Summit in Fairview, Utah on December 5th at 7pm.

    Thanks Jay!
